Carole is a former Luxembourgish government agent who found the WordPress community during a four-year sabbatical. She soon became the WordPress community ambassador for a leading WebOps platform as well as a passionate WordCamp speaker and organizer.
As an advocate for positive mental health inside the WordPress community, her mantra is: “There is nothing ever more important in life than your own health”. That’s why she strongly believes in taking occasional breaks from her professional activities to reevaluate her own values and priorities which occasionally ends up with reinventing herself.
Recently, she’s combining her passion for cycling and promoting positive mental health inside the WordPress Community as the Crew Chief of the #HeadToWCEU project for WP&UP. Carole is the lead organizer for the 5th edition of the CloudFest Hackathon in 2020, promoting open-source projects inside the hosting industry.
She currently lives in the German Eifel together with her husband and her three French bulldogs. Carole is also a certified dog’s behavior and health trainer. Furthermore, she’s a committed “lipedema fighter” with regular appearances in print, online and TV media.
